Supper : Vege Biryani on the plane. Taste : not good.
Sunrise , view from the plane.
Breakfast, Nasi Lemak Pak NasSer’s. The looks is pathetic, and so is the taste.
Still napping, but arriving soon.
Yeah, Welcome to Sydney. Landed safely and on time.
Got our broadband from the airport. Paid AUD10 for this Lebara unlimited broadband.
Dog, in a shuttle bus to Meriton Service Apartment, Campbell Street.
Was looking for The Eight, but could not find, too hungry to search longer, so we went into Emperor’s Garden Restaurant. Order one to try, taste was normal, but service was bad. Left and walked to Wild Life Sydney Zoo located at Darling Harbour.
At the Darling Harbour.
Wild life brochure and entrance tickets. Tip : We bought the Wildlife Sydney tickets at Darling Harbour's information center, which sell 20% cheaper than at the Wildlife itself.
Koalas up high on the eucalyptus tree.
I thought it was a kangaroo, but Gyn said no it’s not. It’s wallaby.
Touching a kangaroo.
My turn.
Up close and personal with a beloved Aussie icon, the 'roo!
Some of the animals in the zoo. Ridge-tailed monitor.
Inland taipan.
Baby scrub python.
Central bearded dragon.
Cassowary chick. (Princess the Casso)
Yellow-footed rock wallaby.
Broad-shelled river turtle.
Snakes.
Caught the python giving a big yawn. Wow!
More animals.
Caught a glimpse of Tasmanian devil.
Rex the crocodile. Soooooo huge. It’s a Saltwater Crocodile and got its own facebook > https://www.facebook.com/rexthecroc
Rex is WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo's mammoth saltwater crocodile. Measuring over five metres long and weighing a hefty 700kg, he is also one of Australia's largest crocodiles.
Rex going to sleep…. again.
On the Pyrmont Bridge, pedestrian and bicycle only bridge.
Feeling hungry, bought McFeast to try.
Walked back from Darling Harbour to Chinatown for Friday Night Market.
Boring, small, expensive but crowded night market. Didn’t buy anything.
Ordered a big bowl of Wonton noodle at Dixon House Food Court, Chinatown, Sydney.
At the busy Liverpool St junction, on Friday night.
Heard so much about Harry's Meat Pie, tried one, and thumbs down for the taste.
End of day 1.
