Seventh Day of Chinese New Year 2016 (Yan Yat)

The seventh day of the Chinese New Year is also called Yan Yat, which means Everybody's Birthday. It's believed that on this day, Goddess Nü wa created human beings by molding them from clay.  Goddess Nu Wa spent first six days creating animals.

This year Yan Yat  Seventh day of the Lunar New Year coincide with Valentine's Day.  So, it's a double celebration for both of us.

The customary Yee Sang hamachi raw fish salad.
